Encounter

I was in the hospital. I was in pain. It was night. Ari was there. All I remember was all of a sudden Brandon and his gang burging in and knocking me out and fighting Ari. I knew she couldn't take them all. I woke up with a Micheal guarding me. He stood over me cause I was in a chair tied up I'm guess in the basement. Two other guys I knew, Wendal and Kevin,were there too. All of a sudden I saw Austin Brumley of all people, jump down and knock out Micheal. The Ari jumped from the vent too and took out Wendal and Kevin. They untied me and up into the vent we went. Austin ran out front and Ari helped me to the front where Austin was ready with a car. We drove away as fast as possible. when we were a safe distance away, I said to Austin " Thanks for getting me outta there" " Eh don't worry about it. I owed you one. Thanks for saving Brook. We are even now." and Ari and I got out of the car. He drove off.

the other day I was hanging out feeling horrible of what I did. I couldn't eat or sleep. Eventually the gang forced me to eat saying it will get easier to hurt people and feel no guilt at all. That didn't make me feel better. One of the guys told me that Ari wanted to meet us at five yesterday. I didn't want to see her. I didn't want to talk to her. But the guys forced me to go. We met her there and she was looking mad as ever. "Hey" I said in a week voice. She glared at me. "Hey" she spat at me. I looked back at the guys and told them I wanted to be alone with her. They understood and left. "What have you gotten yourself into? I didn't teach you how to fight so you could beat up my cousin's best friend and his girlfriend." she said. I just stood there with my head down. "I asked you a question!" she shouted. I looked at her. She punched me across the face. I put my hand to my face. Warm blood was dripping from my cheek. Then she slammed me into a a brick wall and lifted me up by the collar. "Fine just beat me up. I don't care anymore. I deserve it." I said. Ari let go of my collar and looked at me confused. I closed my eyes waiting for the beating of a life time. But it didn't come. I opened my eyes. "Brian....." she said. "Yes?" I responed. "Was it worth it? Was it worth it to hurt the people that took you in?" she asked.I didn't answer. "Do you like what you have become?" she said. I looked at her. "and I'm sorry" she said. "for what?" I asked. "For this." she said as she kicked me in the shin, punched me in the stomach, slamed me to the ground, and took out a taxer abd tazered me. She walked away. I got up and walked to the beach. I looked at my reflection. I didn't reconize it at first. No it wasn't worth it. No I don't like what i've become. I picked myself up and walked to the north side of town. I pasted some greasers that gave me glares. I finally made it to the Curtis house, where I knocked on the door. Darry Curtis answered. "what do you want?" he spat at me. "I need to talk to Ponyboy" I answered. "Fine but make it quick and don't try anything soc" he said as he led me inside. "pony get over here!" he yelled. Ponyboy walked over. He stopped and asked,"What is HE doing here?" "I want to talk to you." I said. "Fine" he told me. We sat down on the front porch. "look I'm sorry for what I did. I don't like what I've become. I made a huge mistake and I want to make it up to you." I told him. He looked at me blankly. "Im serrious. Just tell me some thing you want me to do,I'll do it." I said. "well........there is one thing......"

A Real Soc

I was walkin home from school when some socs came to pick on me. I WASNT in the mood. I felt like i was going to cry. I wanted to tell the girl i liked how i felt about her and i found out she had a boyfrind. They started saying some stuff and making fun of me, but when i told them i wasnt in the mood it got worse. I suddenly got a sense of anger that overwhelmed me so i turned around and punched the one in the head. He fell to the ground unconcious. They all went silent. All i could hear was my heavy breathing. I started to think i should run, but my feet just wouldnt move. Finaly, after what seemed like hours, the leader started walking towards me. He was taller than me, probably around almost 6 foot.He seemed older than me and very calm and serious. I looked up to him. He spoke, "Nice punch kid. No one has ever knocked out Robbie." I didnt know what to say. He continued, "The names Brandon. This is our gang. How bout you and me have alittle talk to see if we let you be in it? We could use someone like you. I hung out with them for alittle while. We had a bunch of fun. Robbie woke up and i said i was sorry and he shrugged it off. When I was talkin to Dan, we heard some yelling and some of the guys came into the alley we were in with what seemed to be two people with their hands and feet tied together and bags over their heads. The guys shouted, "We got another two! They were spying on us. There was a third but he got away." Brandon smiled. "Well take the bags off so we can see who." he told them. They removed the bags and to my horror it was Ponyboy Curtis and Brook Cade. "hhmmmm I say we let our new member take this one." said Brandon pointing his finger at Ponyboy. I swallowed. I hated this guy. He had the girl I liked and he hated me. But if I hurt him Brooks would hate me. "Take your best shot soc" Pony said. That's all it took to make me snap. I punched him in the eye. Then kicked him in the stomach, face, and nuts. i took out a knife and untied one arm. I twisted it and bent it back. Then stepped on his fingers. I think he was about to cry. Brooks was already crying and screaming. The socs were cheering. I relized what I had done and I stood there looking at him. "Good job Brian." said Brandon, "Your good at this. Now the girl." "I dont hit girls." I told him. "No, don't hit her. These two are lovebirds, I know it for a fact. Kiss her, It will torture the other one." I looked at him for a moment. I went over to Brook. I wispered in her ear,"sorry but I have to do this." I kissed her. Then Greasers came in shouting and we all ran.

The Rockies

So let's go over everthing that happened in the Rockies. On the way there I ran over a squirrel and all the snowboards fell off the car. Ari was all like "WHAT THE CABBAGE?!?!?" When we got there we got into our rooms. Mine was across from Ari's. Then we went and saw Shaun White. I got a pic of him kissing her forehead. He signed my helmet. That night we hung out in her room watchin tv and since I brought my guitar I started playin music til this old guy in a robe came and knocked on her door and started complainig. He tried to take her necklace saying it would pay for his hearing check. He was knocked out for hours. Then we went down to the lobby and started singin. People started to join in and started putting in requests. Finally when the show was over I guy came up to me and said he was from a record company and he wanted me to come by in a week or two. We got up early to compete in the compatitions that were going on. Ari totaly rocked the halfpipe and I did awesome at the downhill freestyle. I won a day with Shaun White. Ari freaked out. I had to buy a new board cuz someone stole mine. Shaun White is a pretty chill dude. He's pretty funny too. We had a bunch of fun and I started teaching him guitar! How many people can say that? We went on snowmobiles and Ari totally left me in the snow. I ended up crashing mine. When I finally got up Ari was teaching me how to fight. She said I was strong enough to do it but I just didn't know how. I was doing really good by the time we were done. Probably the best weekend ever, until she told me bout Austin.

Complications

going snow boarding with Ari tommarow. Im reall physiced! Only my favorite board is busted so i cant take it. We are going to see Shaun White. He is so totaly awesome. I want him to sign my board that im taking, i spent like all today waxing it. Fun. Some people, coughJamiecough, want me to ask Ari out others, coughPonyboycough, dont.
well today i was walking around cause i didnt have anything better to do, i was stopped by this guy. He was a greaser, i could tell. he got all mad and started talking to me and pushing me around. He took me by the collor of my shirt."Hey Soc. You know who i am?" he spat at me."No im sorry we havent met." i responded. "Well Ari is my girl, got it? I dont like that your taken her on a date." he said. "Whoa slow down. i dont even know your name and she said shes not dating anyone, and its not a date." i told him. " Im Austin dont forget it. No we are not together yet but we will be. It better not turn into a date." he spat at me. Then he dropped me and started to leave. heturned around and said,"And you Soc, I better not hear anything bout u and her gttin serious cause ill be back and it wont be pretty." he turned around and started on his way. i just layed there on the ground. What i would of done to that guy if i could fight.

There's a girl I like... She's one of you. But she likes someone else. So I'll have to wait.

Me

I looked around as I stepped out of the car and groaned. Tulsa. A place if greasers and thugs. Maybe there are a few hot chicks here I thought. I wasn't happy moving here from LA. My dad is a directed and I'm used to hanging out with stars. Tulsa. I thought again. Ugh. Who am I? I'm Brian, Brian Kent. Almost 17 and proud of it. What u greasers would call a soc.
